Rose House is happy to announce its newest resident! Axel is comfortably living in his new forever home, the Alison House Group Home, with housemates Michael and Willie.
Like many of our male residents, Alex loves sports. He played basketball in school and enjoys watching football games, especially the New York Jets and Giants.
Axel is also a music enthusiast, preferably easy listening and classical music. He learned to play the piano by using a color system, and he can play “Silent Night” wonderfully.
Axel is the youngest of seven children and often helped in the kitchen growing up. He has five sisters, one brother, and three nephews. Axel notes that he is proud of his brother-in-law Ryan, an EMT Supervisor in the same town as his new forever home.
Would you like to see more community members with special needs find their forever homes? You can help! We’re currently fundraising for our capital campaign, a.k.a., the “Forever Home Project,” which will create affordable housing for 12 individuals with special needs in Chester Township, NJ! Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution using the Donate button.
