Congratulations to Rachel! She recently earned the Employee of the Month Award from Employment Horizons.
How Rachel earned her award
According to Employment Horizons, Rachel is a hard worker who takes initiative. One day she reached out to her supervisor, asking how she could improve. Rachel received valuable feedback that helped increase her productivity.
“Rachel carries a notebook that lists her goals for the different jobs she works on, which range from cleaning and wrapping power bricks and wires and remote control disassembly, removing batteries from remote controls,” said her supervisor, Kathy. “This month, she did a great job meeting and even surpassing her goals, so she set new ones!”
Kathy added that Rachel is especially efficient with remote controls and can process up to 600 per day! Rose House couldn’t be prouder of her amazing career accomplishments, including the well-earned award.
About Rachel’s forever home
Rachel lives at the Hanover Community Residence, which houses 12 Rose House residents. She also belongs to the Independent Living Program where residents handle most of their day-to-day activities. In this program, caregivers provide support by perfecting current life skills and helping develop and use new skills.
