LIVING AT THE ROSE HOUSE
Are you looking for a community living residence where you can pursue your personal goals and interests, make new friends, and develop your skills and independence?
Our residential programs are designed to help you pursue and achieve your personal goals and lead a full and rewarding life.
In a Rose House home you’ll be able to:

- Use the life skills you’ve worked so hard to develop, while learning and using new skills
- Develop and exercise freedom of choice in your life decisions

- Be a leader by showing the public that people with developmental disabilities are contributing members in the workplace and community
RESIDENTIAL SERVICES
Our traditional group homes have around-the-clock caregiver coverage to support our residents’ needs.
Each home offers spacious living with each resident having their own rooms and access to each community’s recreation areas and social events. Residents plan their days based on personal goals, including employment, recreation, education, and personal interests. The Rose House helps our residents access a wide variety of community programs and services to meet their goals and interests.

INDEPENDENT LIVING
Our independent living program is designed for people who seek more independence than living in a group home.
Residents handle most of their day-to-day activities. Caregivers support residents with perfecting their current life skills and helping them develop and use new skills. The Independent Living Program is located within walking distance of public transportation, area businesses for work and shopping, a park, and a number of community organizations. Residents are not only able to work and shop a short distance from home, but also have convenient access to jobs, shopping, and recreation in the greater Morris County area. There are four two-bedroom apartments and four one-bedroom apartments. Each apartment has a bathroom, living room, dining area, and kitchen. The residence also has a laundry room, multi-purpose room, and staff offices.

SELF-DIRECTED SERVICES
Are you looking for a community or in-home supports?
The Rose House is a Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD)-approved provider of Self-Directed Services, offering one-on-one personal supports in the areas of life skills training, community activities, errands, household chores, and personal assistance.
Our program works with:
- Assessment Tools
- Individualized Budgets
- Plan Of Care Development Through Essential Lifestyle Planning (ELP)
- Support Coordination And Team Process
- Fiscal Intermediary
We’re happy to work with you and your parents/guardians to prepare a service plan to achieve your personal goals, match you with one of our trained Caregivers, and set a schedule that meets your needs. Program costs can be covered by DDD Self-Directed Funds or direct billing.
