Beyond the Walls

Beyond the walls of our homes, residents have full access to the vibrant life of their communities, including parks, cultural events, and social gatherings. With a strong emphasis on personal development and independence, our residents are encouraged to engage in a variety of activities aligned with their personal goals and interests. Whether it’s pursuing educational opportunities, securing employment, indulging in hobbies, or participating in local community events, The Rose House works tirelessly to facilitate access to a wide range of programs and services that support our residents’ aspirations.

This holistic approach to residential care ensures that each individual not only receives the support they need but is also empowered to live their life to the fullest, making meaningful contributions to their community and enjoying a rich social life. Our dedicated staff works closely with each resident to tailor support plans that promote autonomy, personal growth, and a sense of belonging. At Rose House, we believe that every resident is a unique individual with endless potential, and it’s our privilege to be part of their journey.

Independent Living

Our Independent Living Program is designed for people who seek more independence than living in a group home.

Residents handle most of their day-to-day activities themselves. Caregivers support residents with perfecting their current life skills and helping them develop and use new skills. The Independent Living Program is within walking distance of public transportation, area businesses for work and shopping, a park, and community organizations.

Residents can work and shop a short distance from home and have convenient access to jobs, shopping, and recreation in the greater Morris County area. There are four two-bedroom apartments and four one-bedroom apartments. Each apartment has a bathroom, living room, dining area, and kitchen. The residence also has a laundry room, multi-purpose room, and staff offices.
