Rose House gives the Golden Rose to Liquid Church

Liquid Church Receives Our 2024 Golden Rose Award

Rose House has awarded Liquid Church of Parsippany, NJ the recipient of this year’s prestigious Golden Rose Award on December 6, 2024. Rose House CEO Tom Mitchell (pictured left) presented the Golden Rose, the organization’s highest honor, to Liquid Church’s Executive Pastor of Ministries Kayra Montañez and Morris County Campus Pastor Keon Carpenter at its Christmas Outreach, a food packing event to serve families in need.

“This award is our highest honor given to a person or organization that provides exemplary support and advocacy for its community,” said Rose House CEO Tom Mitchell. “Liquid Church also exhibits exceptional dedication for those with special needs every year.”

Liquid Church supported Rose House through its 2024 Fall Outreach program. It included hosting the organization’s anniversary celebration for residents, their families, staff, board members, and supporters at the church’s Morris County campus. As part of the program, Liquid Church parishioners also selflessly volunteered their time to build a wheelchair ramp and deck at a Rose House group home in Budd Lake, New Jersey.

In addition to supporting Rose House, Liquid Church offers complimentary “Night to Shine” prom events every year that are open to anyone in the community with special needs. These events have enriched the lives of many Rose House residents by providing a sense of inclusivity.

The Golden Rose Award was given to Liquid Church at its Christmas Outreach on December 6, 2024. The outreach is an annual partnership of the church and Rise Against Hunger to host meal packing events at seven locations across New Jersey. Many Rose House representatives were present to help package meals destined for Zambia and other developing nations.
