Congratulations to Carol Mateo! She won the record-breaking $10,575 jackpot with ticket #15553!
In the spirit of the holiday season, she gave Rose House the most generous gift imaginable. Carol donated $10,000 of it back to Rose House! Thank you for selflessly thinking of our residents with special needs, Carol! She is pictured with Rose House CEO Tom Mitchell.
Carol’s mother, Mary Schaeffer, was a special needs teacher at Bee Meadow School in East Hanover, NJ. She taught many of our residents and is greatly missed by all. Carol gave back to Rose House in Mary’s memory.
The winning ticket was drawn on Thursday, December 18, 2025. Thank you to all who participated.
All proceeds from the 2025 raffle will go toward the Forever Home Project. We’re building a new, affordable housing complex for 12 more individuals with developmental disabilities, thanks to caring people like you.
If you’d like to receive raffle tickets in the mail next year and you’re not already on our ticket distribution list, please send us your physical mailing address to contact@therosehouse.org or use the button below.
