How Can I Help?
The Rose House depends on the generous support of friends like you to help provide our clients with the best possible programs, individual supports, and help with pursuing their personal goals.
Proceeds from the Rose House’s Gala, Annual Dinner, and contributions from individual supporters and community groups help clients to take self-improvement classes, learn new hobbies and skills, receive employment training, and enjoy individual and group activities and trips.

Our group home clients receive only a small stipend ($40 to $100 per month) for personal spending money. These funds have to cover not only their recreation costs, but also personal items such as clothing, and medications and supplements not covered by Medicaid.
Also, State rules prohibit service providers from using client contract funds for attending sleep-away camp or going away on vacation. So, your support helps us help our residents do things, like vacations, which most people take for granted.
For example, four of our residents took a week’s vacation to Orlando, Florida. About half the cost was paid for by the residents saving their own money; the other half was donated by local Rotary organizations and other donations to The Rose House.
